To this day, we still talk about how we cannot believe that we’ve gone for five years. We made that pilot and it was a beautiful, amazing, fun experience for two weeks in New York. Then we were like, Okay, well, this was great. We have no idea what’s going to happen. We didn’t get picked up for months and months, and then we didn’t come back and sell the first season until over a year later. So it was a really long time to wait. And then, even when we made the first season, we had no idea. We thought we were lucky to make these few episodes, but we didn’t know if anyone was going to watch it or care. We thought it was great. But you never know.
